‘I am open to a DNA test’ – Mohbad’s ally, Spending debunks paternity rumours surrounding Liam

 

Spending, a close friend of the late singer Mohbad, has come out to deny rumours circulating on social media that he is the biological father of Mohbad’s son, Liam.

The speculation gained momentum after a post was shared online, highlighting a striking resemblance between Spending and Liam, which sparked heated debates and scrutiny over the child’s paternity.

In a statement shared on his Instagram story, Spending firmly dismissed the allegations, calling for an end to the baseless claims. He emphasised that he has no connection to Liam’s mother, expressing frustration over the spread of false narratives, and urged bloggers to stop fuelling the rumours.

Spending wrote, “I’ve been seeing several bloggers insinuating I’m Liam’s father. This is not a joke for real!! To set the record straight, I’m not his father and I never had any affectionate relationship with his mother. Y’all need to stop spreading these false narratives.”

Spending also offered to undergo a DNA test if necessary, demonstrating his willingness to provide proof of his claims.

“I’m happy to have a DNA test done if required,” he added.
